Colony (2006) is a stereo sound installation accompanied by a sculptural component that is composed of the ‘instruments’ of its own making. Found tape register receipts coiling and uncoiling were recorded and mixed to produce a 6min track (looped) to be played in the gallery for this temporary installation (Smith College: Brown Fine Arts Center / Northampton, MA).
